Flanagan’s Farmhouse is a charming and historic two storey farmhouse which has been recently fully restored and decorated to an exceptionally high standard; this characteristic farmhouse is complimented with a bright and modern interior. The house is over 100 years old and was once a working farm with over 80 acres of land.

This luxury house is situated on its own private one acre site and is the perfect location for either a quiet family holiday or entertaining with friends. The house is finished to an exceptionally high standard; it is both comfortable and well equipped with all the essential amenities.

Idyllic Setting

The house is located on the idyllic Atlantic Drive and only 5 minutes (2 miles) from Downings Village in North West Donegal. The famous Atlantic Drive is a short but very dramatic road around the Peninsula. The drive is about 12km long so you can best appreciate it if you cycle or walk. The walk can be comfortably completed in half a day. The Croaghaturr Headland walk is accessed from a laneway to the rear of the house; with its breath-taking views of Sheephaven Bay, the Atlantic coast and off shore Islands.

For keen rally fans, the house is situated on the Atlantic Drive stage of the Donegal International Rally which can be clearly watched in safety from the front of the house.

A perfect setting for any holiday whether you enjoy outdoor pursuits and adventure or unwinding and relaxing. Booking Details

A booking deposit (non-refundable) of £200 per week to be paid upon booking - with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to the letting period.
A £200 refundable deposit for damage/breakage coverage is also required.

We rented Flanagan’s Farmhouse for a family holiday last year, there were 7 of us and the house was spacious enough for us all. The house is very, very well equipped with everything (and more) you need for a great holiday. There was lots to do for the kids both out and about in Downings and at the house. It was hard to get the kids moved from playing outside the house as the sandpit kept them amused for hours – and tired them out!!! We have rented for years and this house is by far the best kept and best priced we’ve ever came across. Perfect, perfect, perfect! We loved it so much that we’ve booked to go back this year. Roll on summer!
