Absolutely perfect cottage, very well thought out and equipped for guests. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. Great entertainment speakers and tv. Fire and heating perfect. Kitchen a joy to cook in. Generous welcome hamper and products. Beautiful views, quiet and a great spot for exploring the area. Hosts are perfect with recommendations and communication. All in all a top Airbnb. Will look forward to visiting again

Hotel quality accommodation! The house was so comfortable, cosy and relaxing. We enjoyed the perfect stay. Genevieve was an excellent host and provided lots of information for our stay. There was even a welcome box of goodies that we enjoyed as well as fuel for the fire. The house was spotless and everything had been thought of. Comfy beds, great showers, a bath, a beautiful view from the living room and master bedroom and everything you need for cooking in the kitchen.
The Salmon Inn is a stones throw walk so handy if you don’t want to drive.
Donegal town 10 mins away and Murvagh beach 5 mins away. Great location for staying local or exploring. We drove to Killybegs and Slaibh Liag cliffs.
I would highly recommend and hopefully will be back sometime to show it off to others!

Genevieve was the best host we’ve ever had! She was very easy to communicate with, very friendly and responsive. When we asked anything we had an answer within minutes. She went over and above to make us feel welcome - from local recommendations, the lovely welcome basket to providing everything for our baby - crib, highchair, baby bath towel, toys and more!
The place itself exceeded expectations- with gorgeous ocean views, thoughtfully renovated with beautiful decor and a fully stocked kitchen - making it easy and enjoyable to cook family meals.
Genevieve really thought of every detail to ensure a wonderful stay. Thank you for having us and we will be sure to stay here again on our next trip to Donegal!

We have been travelling to Donegal for over 40 years and this is the most best house we have ever stayed in.
What an absolutely beautiful house and location!
The views of the bay and the sunsets from the living room and master bedroom were incredible.
The house is perfect! Genevieve has thought of everything to make her guests’ time there luxurious and relaxing. We had the best nights sleep ever in the super comfortable beds!
I could not get over how tranquil the area was, but only 10 minutes from Donegal Town where we had a great few nights out listening to traditional Irish music in the pubs and taking a really great trip on the Donegal water bus!
We had a beautiful walk on Murvagh beach ( 2-3 minutes drive away) and then a great meal in the bar at Murvagh Golf Course. We can’t wait to come back to this 5 star holiday home!

Most likely the best cottage we ever stayed in. 5 stars all the way. Genevieve went above and beyond to make us feel home right from the beginning to the very end. She was a top communicator, always ready to address any issues we had with her kind and caring way.
The place is professionally equipped with anything one can possibly imagine for a great stay. From the super comfy beds to an amazing kitchen with high-end appliances (we especially loved the fancy coffee machine).
The house is newly renovated, feels very homey and has an amazing view over the bay.
We cannot recommend the Bayview House enough! A 5 star experience.
Should we travel to this corner of Ireland again, we for sure will stay at Genevieve’s cottage again.

We have visited the area many times over the years and stayed in many places, but this was a fantastic find and without a doubt the best location with the best views ever. The house is of the highest quality and everything that we have thought missing in previous houses has been thought and planned into Bayview. We will definitely be back when we get the chance.
