Rossnowlagh

Often referred to as the "Heavenly Cove" the beach in this popular holiday resort is regarded by many as the most scenic and dramatic beach in County Donegal - a County renowned for its beautiful beaches

Set in a 4km crescent of golden sand with the sparkle of shimmering waves breaking on the shore, Rossnowlagh Beach is popular for all kinds of watersports including board sailing, surfing, water skiing and kite-surfing.  The magnificent blue flag beach also provides ideal conditions for safe bathing (with lifeguard patrols), walking, jogging and the invigorating fresh sea air.

Rossnowlagh boasts the Donegal Historical Society Museum, which houses a  collection of Irish instruments and Stone Age flints. The village also features impressive cliffs where visitors can enjoy scenic walks.
