Waterchase is a four bedroom self-catering holiday home with four bedrooms to sleep up to ten. From the front, its compact appearance belies the spacious interior.

On entering, one finds a comfortable lounge to the left and a ground floor bedroom to the right. In front, the staircase to the upstairs bedrooms. Further down the passage, the main bathroom on the right, and a large fully equipped kitchen and dining area to the rear of the house. Double French Doors allow access to the yard, and there is also a small utility room.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and another separate bathroom. The master bedroom has its own en-suite.
Outside, a neat patch of lawn separates the front of the house from the street. At the rear of the house, one finds an enclosed, fenced backyard, with a small patio area.

The cottage is situated in the Doonwood complex just north of Buncrana, in a cul-de-sac close to the banks of the Crana River. It is a quiet and peaceful location perfect for Families.

Fully insulated, double glazed and centrally heated, Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. Suitable for larger families or groups, this lovely home from home has all you will need to make your stay an experience you will want to repeat.

Buncrana

The town of Buncrana is a mere ten-minute walk away, and you will find a choice of shops, supermarkets, pubs, banks, restaurants, and other service providers and retailers to satisfy your needs.

A short walk will take you to the nearby Tullyarvan Mill, - a renovated picturesque 19th-century corn mill situated on the banks of the Crana River. It is now a community, cultural and hostel centre.

Along the scenic Shore Front seafront walk there is a superb free kids play area with an all-weather surface which can provide hours of entertainment for children of all ages.

Golf

For the golf enthusiast, Buncrana Golf Club (Ireland's oldest 9-hole links course) is only a short 5 min. drive along the coast just within the town boundary. There is also a fantastic 18-hole course, the Northwest Golf Club, located just two minutes further in Lisfannon.

Having hosted the Irish Open in 2018, the world famous Ballyliffin Golf Course is a must play for any golfer visiting Inishowen! Boasting two 18-hole links courses and the newly added 9-hole par-three courses, Ballyliffin G.C. is only twenty minutes drive to the north from the holiday home.

Fishing/Angling

The Crana is probably one of the finest salmon fishing rivers in the northwest and day licences are available from the local angling club.

Walking/Hiking

 Walkers will enjoy rambling along the banks of the river, and there is a well laid out path at Swan Park. A spectacular coastal walk can be enjoyed which starts from the old castle bridge and follows a path along the shoreline to Neds Point, Porthaw Beach, Fr Hegartys Rock, and ends at Stragill Beach.

There are also many hiking trails to follow in Inishowen offering breathtaking views with varying degrees of difficulty but the reward is always worth it!

Living Space

The kitchen and dining area both occupy one large room at the rear south facing side of the house.

The fully-equipped kitchen has contemporary storage units with modern integrated appliances which include: an electric hob - oven and fume extractor - a dishwasher - fridge - freezer - stainless steel sink - microwave - kettle - toaster - a mini hi-fi stereo - Air Fryer and essential crockery and cookware.

A separate utility room has the washing machine - tumble dryer - iron and ironing board - and there is a door providing  access  to the  outside clothes line.

The spacious dining area has a large table with six matching chairs in an American colonial style. There is also a large dresser unit two matching arm chairs and a wall mounted 32" TV.

The French Doors lead onto a small patio area and a secure fence-enclosed back yard along with fitted gates to fully secure the area for children at play.

There is also a separate garage.

Living Room  Living Room

The lounge is just to the left of the main entrance. It is comfortably furnished with a wooden floor and a large two seater & three seater sofa with side tables.

There is a 55" Smart TV with Eir TV package in the living room.

The traditional fireplace is fitted with an electric heater and lighting can be adjusted to suit the mood.
Trees lining the banks of the Crana River which is within a stones throw are visible from front window.

Bedrooms Upstairs = 1 Master Bedroom with King size bed, Bedroom with x2 double room(beds) and the third bedroom has a double bed.  Bedrooms Upstairs = 1 Master Bedroom with King size bed, Bedroom with x2 double room(beds) and the third bedroom has a double bed.

There are four bedrooms in total in the house that sleep up to ten people.

Three of the bedrooms are upstairs.

- Master Bedroom: The upstairs master has a King size bed and an en-suite
- Second Bedroom: x1 Double Bed
- Third Bedroom: x2 Double Beds

Bedrooms Upstairs = 1 Master Bedroom with King size bed, Bedroom with x2 double room(beds) and the third bedroom has a double bed.  Bedroom on Ground Floor = Queen Size Bed

The property features a ground floor bedroom with a Queen size bed.

This very comfortable bedroom also has easy access to the full bathroom next-door on the same ground floor level.

- Deposit is non-refundable and can be paid by Bank Transfer, Cheque, Money Order at time of booking.
- Remaining balance to be paid in cash on arrival.
