Toame Cottage is a traditional stone wall cottage located half a mile from the village of Glen near Carrigart. The cottage is in a rural setting and is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Enjoy the peace and quiet and take time to listen to the birds in the trees. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard with open living space upstairs and wood burning stove. Double doors open to the balcony with views of Glen Lough and mountains in the distance.

Relax in its mature gardens or enjoy the splendid views from its elevated balcony. The renowned Olde Glen Bar restaurant is within easy driving distance as are the beach resort of Downings and the links course at Rosapenna.

Carrigart

The village of Carrigart itself is located on the shores of Mulroy Bay and is surrounded by spectacular coastal and mountain scenery. There are a number of superb beaches in this beautiful part of Donegal including the fabulous Tramore Strand at Rosapenna - a short drive form the holiday home.

Carrigart - and the nearby village of Downings - are popular tourist resorts with lively pubs and a good choice of restaurants. There is something for everyone in this beautiful area, from horse-riding to golf, from browsing around the local art galleries to taking leisurely strolls along the magnificent local beaches.
