The Sand House - Gweedore

The Sand House is your perfect coastal escape in the Donegal Gaeltacht, along the Wild Atlantic Way. Just 10-minute walk to Magheragallon beach where, in the Summer, you can take to ferry to Gola island. 3-minute walk to the local Golf Club and 10 km to Leos Tavern - Home of Enya and Clannad. The Sand House - Details

Beautiful coastal home with 3 double bedrooms, 1 en-suite shower room with ‘rainfall’ shower. Heated towel rail (towels provided).

Beautiful kitchen with island, quartz worktops, dining table, NEFF induction hob, oven, air fryer, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Breakfast cupboard with kettle, toaster and microwave.

Patio doors opening up to the garden with picnic table.

Living room with large, comfy sofas. Smart TV with Netflix (no terrestrial). Wood-burning stove (first basket of wood supplied-you can buy extra at local garage-3 minute drive).

The house has no stairs. All the rooms are on the ground floor.

Fibre broadband installed with super fast speed so you can easily work remotely.

Separate utility room with washing machine and drying rack.

Large garden (hares often seen)

Free Parking for up to 3 cars. No camping, caravans or motorhomes.

Pets: Well-behaved dogs welcome-fee applies- € 20 per dog ( max 2 dogs). Dogs are not allowed on the furniture - beds or sofas. Please leave fee on the kitchen island on departure. Fee goes directly to our housekeeper.

Note: Garden is not enclosed so care will need to be taken if you bring a dog.

Smoking is prohibited indoors.

Tariff

Booking Details

Booking Deposit €200 - with the balance to be paid six weeks before the letting period.

- Check-in 3pm, check out 10.30am
- minimum stay is 2 nights
- no booking or commission fees as you are booking direct with the owner
- Sat-Sat rental during high season
- Weekends available during mid and low season
