We stayed at Sláine's cottage for two nights in August 2018. It was very enjoyable, and very reasonably priced considering it's size and location. I have previously stayed throughout Europe, the US, and Japan, and can honestly say that Sláine's cottage is amongst the best places I've stayed. The cottage was a very good size, and although only two of us were staying, the bedrooms could comfortably accomodate six people without feeling crowded. The bed was very comfy and all bed linen was very clean. The living/kitchen area is spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen has all necessary mod cons and utensils for cooking meals. The bathroom is modern and spacious, and the entire cottage was cleaned to a very high standard. Check in/out was very convenient, and Sláine was always easily contactable before and during our stay. The heating came on automatically in the morning and the evening, ensuring the cottage was warm and cosy despite some rather unfavourable weather during our stay! Away from the cottage, the beach was only a short 10/15min walk away, with beautiful scenery and walks available in every direction from the cottage. Overall, we had a wondrful time staying here, and I would highly recommend Sláine's cottage to other travellers.
