The recently restored paternal home of the Mhic Ghrannain, is situated in the townland of Killavee, along the Rathmullan Road. The Cottage has been in existence since the mid-1800s. This high quality and tasteful restoration consisted of restoring the cottage, providing a modern comfort facility, within a traditional vernacular ambience. This charming property is an ideal base for walkers, golfers, artists, writers etc

A simple and understated contemporary extension has been added to accommodate Kitchen, Dining and First Floor Bedroom. The Accommodation consists of 3 double/ twin Bedrooms with ensuites, Parlour and Kitchen Dining. Underfloor heating, provides all year-round comfort.

Tranquil Setting by Ballymastocker Bay

The peaceful atmosphere that is constantly present, in the sighing of the waves on the seashore, and the raucous calling of the birds … “like a foretaste of heaven”

Local Amenities

The Portsalon Golf Course, neighbours Mhic Ghrannáin’s, although the Club House is a 10 minute drive away. There are numerous well-appointed walks in the area and beyond. Ballymastocker Blue Flag beach is 5 min drive or a 15minute walk. The Scenery on the door step is truly breathtaking and an Artists paradise

The accommodation is Ideally located to visit Letterkenny (25mins) Rathmullan (20 mins) Downings (30 mins via Blaney Bridge) and onwards to Glenveagh National Park, Muckish and Errigal

Booking Details

Booking Deposit €200 - with the balance to be paid six weeks before the letting period.

- Check-in 3pm, check out 10.30am
- no booking or commission fees as you are booking direct with the owner
- Sat-Sat rental during high season

High Season: July/Aug/Easter/Christmas/New Year
Mid Season: Mar/Apr/May/Jun/Sep/Oct
Low Season: Jan/Feb/Nov/Dec (except Christmas/New Year)
