Stewart's Cottage - Dunfanaghy

Stewart's is a modern 3 bedroom holiday home located along Horn Head Road within easy walking distance of the popular seaside and golf resort of Dunfanaghy. A number of attractive tourist amenties are within easy reach of the holiday home including the golf club, Killahoey Blue Flag Beach, Portnablagh Harbour, Ards Forest Park and the dramatic Horn Head Peninsula.

Accommodation in the holiday home is neatly planned, well laid out, spacious and comprises of living room with large TV, modern fitted kitchen, utility room,  3 bedrooms (1 ensuite) and a main bathroom with walk-in shower. The cottage has free wifi and an enclosed garden with off-road parking - a shed to the rear can be used for bike storage etc Sorry, no pets

The Popular Golf And Beach Resort of Dunfanaghy

The village of Dunfanaghy itself is located on Donegal's North West coast, on the western side of  beautiful Sheephaven Bay. It also lies along the route of Irelands Wild Atlantic Way driving route. In the centre of this quaint village is a small square with a market house built in 1847 and a quay built in 1831 and formerly used to export corn. The village is also home to several art galleries,pubs, cafes and craft shops, and a museum - situated in a former workhouse - which describes the effects of the Irish Potato Famine on the Dunfanaghy area

Across the bay from Dunfanaghy is the spectacular  Horn Head, which shelters Dunfanaghy from the Atlantic Ocean and has been designated as an Irish Natural Heritage Area and a Refuge for Fauna (specifically sea birds). New Lake near Dunfanaghy was formerly a salt water marsh but alterations to local sand dunes meant the marsh filled with fresh water and became a lake. Over time New Lake became a haven for seabirds and is now a Special Protection Area
