Saoirse Na Mara - Dunfanaghy

Saoirse Na Mara is a 4 bedroom holiday home located just outside the popular family seaside resort of Dunfanaghy in north west Donegal.  There are sea view from living room, sun room and upstairs gallery. The area around the holiday home is renowned for uncrowded sandy beaches, mountain passes, scenic views and historical landmarks It also has a wide range of  superb countryside, forest and coastal walks to choose from. The holiday home is a great base for walking, angling, scenic drives and golf.

Dunfanaghy:: A Golf and Beach Resort

From the holiday home it is 15 minute walk into Dunfanaghy, and a 10 minute walk to Dunfanaghy Golf Club. This  golf course is set in superb natural links terrain with Horn Head and Sheephaven Bay and the Rosguil Peninsula providing a spectacular backdrop

The superb Killahoey  Blue Flag beach stretches from just outside Portnablagh , right along the golf course and  into the heart of Dunfanaghy village. In addition to Killahoey there are four other superb beaches in this beautiful part of Donegal - Ards, Portnablagh, Tramore and Marble Hill. 

The village of  Dunfanaghy - and the nearby village of Port-na-Blagh - are  popular tourist resorts with lively pubs and a good choice of restaurants -   including the award winning Mill restaurant. There is something for everyone in this beautiful area, from horse-riding to golf, from browsing around the local art galleries to taking leisurely strolls along the magnificent beaches

• Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood and bogs. Glenveagh contains the largest red deer population in Europe.  Within the National Park Glenveagh Castle and gardens are well worth a visit on their own
• Enjoy diving in the clear waters of Sheephaven Bay 
• Go fishing on Sessiagh Lake or enjoy sea angling at Portnablagh
• Find numerous peaceful roads, country lanes and mountain tracks to walk

The holiday home has a bright open plan ground floor overlooked by a minstrel gallery. The living area enjoys sea views. It is comfortably furnished and has a wood burning stove. For home entertainment there is a tv and WiFi

The bright kitchen and dining area has a tiled floor. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped for a self catering holiday. Appliances available include gas/electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The dining area has an elegant table and 6 sturdy dining chairs

The sun room is comfortably furnished and enjoys sea views

Booking Details

Booking deposit (non-refundable) of £100 per week - with balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.

• €250 security deposit fully refundable if the house is left as it is found.
