This spacious 5 bedroom holiday home is in the seaside village of Rossnowlagh - 10 miles from Donegal Town. Sand Dunes is situated on a large site overlooking Donegal Bay and is close to the superb surfing beach.
The holiday home is beautifully furnished and decorated with a large open plan dining room/kitchen and living area. The wonderful upper floor living area has smart TV and a viewing balcony. There is a superb enclosed rear area with Outdoor furniture, patio area, Enclosed Garden, BBQ, Kids swings, sand pit for children
The village of Rossnowlagh itself is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday break. This picturesque village boasts one of the country’s finest beaches. In recent years this beach has become very popular with surfers not only from Ireland but from all over Europe and elsewhere in the world. Surfboards and wetsuits, as well as surf lessons, are available for hire at the surf club on the seafront. The magnificent beach also provides ideal conditions for safe bathing, walking, jogging and simply enjoying the invigorating fresh sea air.
Rossnowlagh boasts the Donegal Historical Society Museum, which houses a fine collection of Irish instruments and Stone Age flints. The village also features impressive sea cliffs where visitors can enjoy scenic walks
Rossnowlagh is an ideal base to tour the North West of Ireland. The beautiful beaches and coastline of South Donegal are on you doorstep. Within a half hours drive you also have the wonderful ‘Yeats Country’ in Sligo and the majestic Fermanagh Lakelands.
