Roisin Cottage

Traditional cottage nestled at foot of Roisin mountain in Derryreel. Midway between seaside towns Dunfanaghy and Falcarragh a ten-minute drive taking you to either. Pets are welcome but we ask that they are on a lead when outside due to sheep in surrounding fields. It's a peaceful setting for those wanting some r&r whilst enjoying the beautiful county of Donegal.

Falcarragh And Dunfanaghy

Falacarragh is a busy market town in the heart of one of Donegal’s main Gaeltachts. The local people cannot do enough to help, and are known for their welcome and friendliness. There are miles of sandy beaches nearby, beautiful golf courses in both Falcarragh and Dunfanaghy, riding stables, bicycle hire, outdoor pursuits centres, surfing and sea fishing activities.

Falcarragh is the ideal spot to tour and travel across West Donegal, and is within easy distance of Glenveagh Castle and National Park, Churchill and its art gallery at Glebe House and all the hustle and bustle of modern town life in nearby Letterkenny.

The popular beach and golf resort of Dunfanaghy is just 6 kilometres from the holiday cottage. This vibrant seaside village has friendly traditional pubs, craft shops art galleries and fine restaurants - including the award-winning Mill Restaurant overlooking New Lake. The village also has a well-established festival programme which runs throughout the year and includes the renowned Jazz and Blues Festival
