Riverside Cottage - Annagry is a new build in a very beautiful part of Donegal. It is situated about half a mile from the main road in the townland of Derrynamansher. Five minutes walk from Leos Tavern in the townland of Meenaleck. (Home of Clannad and Enya) It is also close to the local shop and filling station, Crolly River (Salmon and sea trout )and a ten-minute drive to the stunning Carrick Finn Beach next to Donegal Airport. Not far from the Gweedore Golf Course and Cruit Island Golf Course. It's also a very popular spot for walkers who like to take in the amazing scenery

Local Activities

Local activities in the Annagry area include fishing (freshwater and deep sea), golf,  swimming and  hill walking - Errigal and the Derryveagh mountains are only 15 minutes drive away. There are a number of fine beaches in the locality. A trip to one of the local islands - Gola, Tory or Inishbofin - is a great way to spend a day.

The cottage is located in the heart of Donegal's main Gaeltacht area - enabling the visitor to absorb the culture and heritage of this unique region where Irish is still the main everyday language.

Some of the main attractions in this part of Donegal include the magnificent Glenveigh National Park and the family-orientated Dunlewey Lakeside Centre. This centre has lots of different attractions to keep all the family entertained - children's play area, farm yard, boat trips, craft shop, weaving house, audiovisuals, etc.
