My whole family stayed here for the weekend of the 22nd to 25th July and i would highly recommend this property for famililies or groups who are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay, the views from the front of the property are truly amazing and is only a short drive to buncrana. We had a great time when we were there and i have to say the owner Bridie was so friendly and helpful and nothing was to much bother. We will definitely return here in the future.

We had a very pleasant experience staying at Shanton house, Buncrana Bridie our host was very welcoming and showed us around making us feel quiet at ease. The views from the house are outstanding and are only situated a 5 minute car ride to town centre. The house is very spacious and more than equipped with everything we needed to relax and feel comfortable. The open fire was great to sit by at night whilst enjoying the bonus of free WiFi. I would definitely recommmend any large family to choose Shanton House if visiting Donegal and we look forward to returning in the near future.

This house was perfect for my stay with my Husband,brother,sister -in- law and their 3 Young kid. The location is just 2 minutes drive from buncrana town or 15 minutes from derry. The views from the living room are amazing, there is plenty of parking area for cars, all the bedrooms were big and lovely decorated and the bathrooms were clean and modern. We were kindly provided with a cot and highchair for the youngest. The owner Bridie was very friendly and easily contactable throughout our stay and was willing to provide anything we needed. I would recommend this house for any type of group looking for a relaxing gateway to beautiful Donegal and i would definitely return.
