Sonya's house is walking distance from the main hub of Clonmany perfect if you like a few drinks in the local pubs. The place is very spacious with 4 bedrooms catering for the 6 of us with ease. The beds were very comfortable and the place was warm. We arrived late so Sonya met up with me the next day as she had already opened the place up for my girls who were meeting up with us there. She ran though the place with me and left her phone there to use hotspot. Would highly recommend staying here if in Clonmany.

It was a joy to stay at Sonia’s Riverside Cottage. I had twice, previously stayed at her beautiful Glen House B&B, so I knew that all would be great for this extended stay. Not only was the cottage beautifully clean, but the layout is excellent and flows so well. The location is fabulous as a base for the whole Inishowen area and there are stunning beaches & landscapes in close proximity. Golfer’s will love it as Ballyliffin Golf Club, which hosted the Irish Open this year, is a short distance from the property. Clonmany town centre itself is a few minutes’ walk away with good bars and facilities – it is without hesitation that I recommend a stay at 47 Riverside Cottage. And Sonia’s hospitality, personality & attention to detail, make for a truly memorable holiday.

Really beautiful cottage set very close to a lovely little village. The house itself was lovely inside with everything you could need. It was really clean,. comfortable and homely. We really enjoyed our stay and the people in the village were very friendly.

Never done the holiday house rental before and if they are all to this standard it won’t be the last. As other reviewers have said it never feels like someone else’s home, it’s yours as soon as you walk in the door. It had everything you need for a self-catering stay. Cooker with ample pots, pans, plates & cutlery. Dishwasher, washing machine, towels ect. Rooms are big and really well decorated, master bed en suite with 2 other big bathrooms, tons of room for the 6 that was in our party. The location is one of its main pluses, stunning views of the hills and less than a 5 minute walk from the busy town of Ardara with its bars and shops. Try Nancys and the corner house for music and food. I have been to this area many times but on this trip we had a first timer with us and it gave us the opportunity to re explore some of the sights South West Donegal has to offer. Some of the highlights were Glencolmcille with its folk village, well worth a visit. Nairn beach one of the finest beaches you will find anywhere, Slive League is a must if you get a good day absolutely breath-taking views, we got a perfect day and could see as far as Mayo, and because you can now drive right to the very top it’s there for everyone to see. Glengesh pass is also not to be missed, world class scenery and on your doorstep. Thanks to Sonia for all the help and looking after us, really can’t recommend this house and area enough.
