Sorry, sorry, sorry...for not getting in touch earlier. I had every intention as soon as I got back; but got hijacked by a multitude of things which had hit the fan or just piled up in my absence. Donegal was BRILLIANT...and we regard ourselves as being so lucky in finding your cottage on the internet and having the privilege of staying there. The accommodation is first-class and felt like a real treat.
It is in a gorgeous spot and the walking is wonderful all around. We watched a school/pod of Dolphin on our second night...near the slipway in the next bay. Your own little bay had its own Great Northern Divers and Light-Bellied Brent Geese...fantastic! ...and the weather...blue sky and sunshine, every day from start to finish! We told the locals we had brought it with us...and so they thanked us kindly.
Everyone was so pleasant, talkative and approachable...of whatever age or persuasion....and the guy in Campbells clothing shop...what a hoot of a character, he was sensational! We had a load of books and dvds, but didnt really need them...except the books,when we just chilled out around the house/bay/point. Sue said its the first holiday where shes felt she didnt want to go anywhere else except the doorstep. But get around we did...but no further north than Port Noo...and no further south than Slieve League (spectacular walk up from Teelin)....and no further east than the Ardara-Killybegs road...your local area was brilliant enough.
Everyone will get clued up on the photos and we will sing your praises to the heavens. I certainly hope we can take advantage of your hospitality again, in the not to distant future. Thank you so much again for making our stay so special & memorable!

Just a card say 'thank you'! We had a great holiday, staying at lovely 'ocean view'! We love Donegal, Ardara, it's view, it has captured our heart definitely. You might recognise the photo, it's been taken at sunset at the beach near ocean view! We hope we'll return to lovely, beautiful Donegal again sometime!
