The Fanad Peninsula

The small village of Portsalon is a popular tourist destination for families - and for golfers. It is situated on the beautiful Fanad Peninsula. The natural landscape of this peninsula provides the basis for many of the activities that the visitor can enjoy. In addition to an abundance of golden sandy beaches, there are many water-based activities in the area - including windsurfing, surfing, sea angling and boat charters. Hillwalking is an increasingly popular activity.

Ideal Tour Base for North Donegal

The holiday home is also an ideal tour base for North Donegal. The majestic Glenveagh National Park, the family-orientated Dunlewey Lakeside Activity Centre and the beautiful Ards Forest Park are all within an hours drive of the holiday home. The new Mulroy Bridge means the breathtaking Atlantic Drive and the Rosapenna Golf Links are now just a 25-minute drive away. The Rathmullan to Buncrana ferry has brought the beautiful Inishowen peninsula and the historic city of Derry within easy reach.
