Orla Holiday Home is superbly located for a self catering holiday in the popular beach and golf resort of Dunfanaghy in north Donegal. All the amenities of this vibrant coastal village as well as Killahoey Blue Flag Beach and Dunfanaghy Golf Club are a short walk from the front door.

The holiday home is located in an attractive development on the edge of Dunfanaghy. It has 3 bedrooms - 2 double bedrooms (1 ensuite) and a twin bedroom. There is bathroom with bath and separate shower. The comfortably furnished living room has an open fireplace. There is a well equipped kitchen with adjacent dining area. There are grass areas to the front and side of the house and an enclosed back garden which is ideal for pets.

Blue Flag Beach

In recent years Dunfanaghy has become one of the most popular holiday destinations in Co Donegal. In large part this is due to the superb beaches and wonderful natural landscape that surrounds the village. But is also partly due to the way Dunfanaghy has developed to cater for the needs of tourists. Today there is a great choice of cafes, restaurants, pubs, art galleries and craft shops. There are surf and watersports centres an well as a renowned riding stables. And of course there is a Blue Flag Beach and a beautiful 18 hole links golf course.

Wild Atlantic Way

Dunfanaghy is situated on the shores of beautiful Sheephaven Bay. It also lies along the route of Irelands Wild Atlantic Way. Across the bay from Dunfanaghy is the spectacular Horn Head which has been designated as an Irish Natural Heritage Area and a Refuge for Fauna (specifically sea birds). 

The landscape along Donegals north west coastline that surrounds Dunfanaghy is ideal walking and hill walking terrain. There are excellent walking routes around Horn Head, on Muckish Mountain and in Ards Forest Park.

The holiday home has a modern fitted kitchen with a tiled floor. Appliances available include electric cooker and hobs, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer.
A separate utility area has a washing machine, ironing board and iron.

 

Dining Area  Dining Area

The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and has a table and 6 chairs. Glass patio doors lead from the dining area to the back garden.

Accommodation in the holiday home is as follows:-

  • Bedroom 1: Large double bedroom with ensuite and electric shower.
  • Bedroom 2: Large double bedroom with built in wardrobe.
  • Bedroom 3: Twin room ideal for children.

All bedrooms have wooden floors and are newly decorated and refurnished
There is a large bathroom with bath and separate shower on the first floor. A toilet is located on the ground floor in the utility area.

Booking Details

A booking deposit (non-refundable) of £100 per week is required with balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.

  • rental is Saturday-Saturday except by prior arrangement
