Moores Holiday Homes are family run accommodation in picturesque North West Donegal. Established over thirty years ago, the popularity of both the location and the holiday homes, has steadily grown. Newly refurbished  in recent times, the houses have underwent total redecoration, resulting in a clean, modern feel. The fantastic location of Moores Holiday Homes appeals to families, couples and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Dunfanaghy village is less than 10 minutes walk away, as are the 18 hole golf links and blue flag Killahoey beach.

About Dunfanaghy

Dunfanaghy is a picturesque village situated in the North West of Co. Donegal, nestled in Sheephaven Bay. It is surrounded by magnificent coastal and mountain scenery. This is one of the wildest, most rugged and least populous corners of Ireland.

It is much loved by both national and international tourists alike from walkers, fishermen and golfers to photographers, artists and nature lovers. The area is very popular among families who enjoy water sports and horse riding.

For many years Dunfanaghy was the commercial centre of West and North West Donegal, under the patronage of the local landlords, the Stewarts, whose seat was at Ards, a few miles south along the western shores of Sheephaven Bay.

Dunfanaghy is a town that is made for holidays; Horn Head overlooks it and dominates the surrounding area, and it has an abundance of beaches within easy reach – Killyhoey, Portnablagh, Marble Hill, Ards and Tramore at Horn Head. Also at Horn Head is McSwineys Gun, so called because of the noise often made by the tide rushing into the natural blow hole under the headland.
