Little White Cottage - Dungloe

Located in Dungloe, the Little White Cottage is the perfect get away with so many things to do locally. The cottage has recently undergone a renovation and has all the modern appliances and necessities whilst still maintaining the traditional Irish cottage feel. Stunning beaches, forest walks, national parks, surfing and kayaking are just a few of the activities in the local area.

Dungloe

Dungloe is the main town less than a ten-minute drive away. This is a popular shopping and socializing centre for the people of The Rosses. Every year thousands of people from all over the world flock to the famous Mary from Dungloe Festival.

Within twenty minutes drive there are a host of local festivals each summer e.g. Annagry, Burtonport, and the renowned MacGill Summer School/Festival in Glenties. 

Not far from Dungloe you will find a host of fine pubs and restaurants including the renowned Danny Minnie’s in Annagry and Leo’s Tavern, home of Clannad, in Crolly.

Activities and Attractions

• Glenveagh Castle, Gardens and National Park, generously bequeathed to the Irish nation by Mr Henry McIlhenny  of Tabasco Sauce fame!
• Ionad Cois Locha, a great family centre which has  a restored two-story farmhouse with a farm museum and a large variety of animals, an adventure play area that includes an artificial lake for safe, supervised water activities and an all covered supervised play area. There are also storytelling trips in a 50- seater boat with views of the double-peaked summit of Errigal and the glimmering granite of the Poison Glen from new angles.
• Donegal Airport at Carrickfinn provides regular flight connections to Dublin and Prestwick. Car hire is available at the airport.
• Day trips by ferry to nearby Arranmore Island

Booking Details

Booking deposit of (non-refundable) €150 - with balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to letting period. 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations occuring at least 8 weeks before check-in will get a full refund; excluding the booking deposit. Cancellations after 8 to 4 weeks prior to check in, is given.
