Knockmore manor is a beautiful modern holiday dwelling built to the highest construction standards.  It is located on a large, private, elevated site overlooking Donegal Bay.  The accommodation comprises 4 well furnished double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. 1 double bedroom also has 1 single bed and cot available. The spacious gardens provide a fantastic environment for private relaxation or family-friendly fun and games.

Rossnowlagh Blue Flag Surfing Beach

Knockmore Manor is located in the centre of one of the most popular holiday destinations in Ireland  with the seaside village of Rossnowlagh within walking distance

The beach at Rossnowlagh is world-renowned for all types of water sports, and the European Surfing Championships have been hosted here on numerous occasions.  The beach has Blue Flag status with lifeguard patrols and provides ideal conditions for safe bathing and swimming. Board sailing and wind surfing are also popular beach activities.  There are miles of cliff top and shore paths offering an opportunity for jogging, and leisurely walks. 

The local Franciscan Friary, which houses the Donegal Historical Society museum is well worth a visit.  The surrounding grounds, lawns and walks offer the tourist an opportunity for tranquil relaxation.

Creevy Pier, located less than 1 mile from Knockmore Manor, offers the tourist an excellent fishing opportunity, and the Creevy Shore Walk is a 10 mile coastal footpath running from Rossnowlagh past Creevy Pier to Ballyshannon.

There are many fine restaurants in the immediate area  including Herring's Cove at Creevy,  The Creevy Pier Hotel, The Smugglers Creek at Rossnowlagh and the Sand House Hotel and Surfers Bar at Rossnowlagh Beach

 

Surrounding Area

The seaside holiday resort of Bundoran is just 12km away with its amusement attractions, hotels restaurants, cinema and Waterworld

Golfing is well provided for in the surrounding area.  There are two 18 hole links championship courses.  One is located at the Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran, and the other is located at Murvagh, near Donegal Town.

Donegal Town is located approximately 15km away.  This historic town offers many tourist attractions such as Donegal Castle, Donegal Abbey and Magees of the Diamond

There is a fully enclosed garden to the front and rear of the dwelling with fantastic sea and mountain views. The property is fully alarmed with electric gates in driveway.

Knockmore Manor has a large sitting room with porcelain tiled floor and electric heating.  It enjoys fantastic sea views over Donegal Bay. for home entertainment there is a tv and dvd player.
