Kate's Kabin

Kate's Kabin is a comfortable 3-bedroom holiday home located on the shores of Mulroy Bay. It is situated on the outskirts of Kerrykeel village. The kabin is part of a modern holiday home development and features well-maintained grounds and safe driveways. From the large balcony to the front of the house there is an uninterrupted view down to the shores of Mulroy Bay. 

The Fanad Peninsula

The village of Kerrykeel itself is situated on the Fanad Peninsula. This beautiful peninsula stretches north from the village of Milford via Kerrykeel to Fanad Head and back down to the quaint Georgian village of Ramelton via Portsalon and Rathmullan. It has some of the most remarkable cliff scenery in Ireland, including outstanding examples of marine erosion.

The peninsula has numerous bays, glorious beaches, rugged mountains, rolling hills and numerous small lakes. On the western shores of the peninsula the renowned Knockalla coast road offers a spectacular drive overlooking Lough Swilly and the Inishowen hills.

Local Activities

A 10-minute drive from the kabin will bring you to the holiday village of Portsalon where you will find a wonderful blue flag beach and a top-class golf course. Portsalon Golf Club has been extensively redesigned in the last few years and is now one of the finest links courses in Donegal

The holiday village of Rathmullan is also a short 15-minute drive away. Here you will find a number of fine restaurants, an equestrian centre, two charter boats (for deep sea angling and sightseeing) and another excellent beach. At the pier area a car ferry to Buncrana on the Inishowen Peninsula operates during the summer months.

Explore The Locality

The kabin is also ideally situated to explore the neighbouring Rosguill Peninsula with its fine beaches and beautiful scenery including the famous Atlantic Drive. The renowned Rosapenna Golf Links is located on this peninsula between the holiday villages of Downings and Carrigart. The water sport enthusiast is well catered for in this area – including a purpose-built diving centre in Carrigart.

Booking Deposit £200 - with the balance to be paid six weeks prior to the letting period.

- Weekends available during mid and low season

High Season: July/Aug/Easter
Mid Season: Mar/Apr/May/Jun/Sep/Oct
Low Season: Jan/Feb/Nov/Dec (except Christmas/New Year)

Bookings cancelled 4 weeks before arrival - 50% refund

Bookings cancelled 2-3 weeks before arrival - 25% refund

Bookings cancelled 1 week before arrival - no refund
