The views also encompass Muckish Mountain, Portnablagh beach and harbour and superb Blue Flag Killahoey Beach.
The holiday home itself is modern, extremely stylish and comfortable. It invites a wealth of natural light with its large windows to maximize the lovely views and setting. The wonderfully spacious living and dining area is central to the home.
This split-level living space is beautifully furnished and decorated and this, together with the stunning views outside, makes entertaining here a dream. A lovely conservatory to the side of the house is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the fishing boats and pleasure craft come and go from Portnablagh Harbour.
The holiday home has 5 very spacious bedrooms with flexible accommodation for 10-14 people. There are 2 en suite bedrooms, a large bathroom with separate shower rooms on the ground floor and first floor. In all there are 5 king-size beds, a set of bunk beds and 2 small children’s beds. An additional playroom has a sofa that can act as an additional bedroom if required. Fully equipped utility room doors stairs with an additional toilet.
There are paved patio areas to the front and side of the holiday home – all enjoying panoramic coastal views. Outdoor furniture is available and there is also a small storage shed for bicycles, golf clubs etc.

Small walking groups will also find the holiday home an ideal base for rambling around the local hill and coastal terrain.
The holiday home is centrally located between the three beach resorts on the northwestern shores of Sheephaven Bay - Portnablagh, Dunfanaghy and Marble Hill.
Both Marble Hill Strand and Killahoey beach in Dunfanaghy are Blue Flag Beaches and are popular for watersports of all kinds. The smaller but more sheltered Portnablagh Beach is a hive of boating and sailing activity during the holiday season.
At Marble Hill, the Shandon Hotel has a luxury modern Spa. The beachfront is the location of the Shack – a quaint coffee and ice cream shop. Amenities in Portnablagh include the Cove Restaurant, the Buttermilk Cafe and Art Gallery as well as the Green Door Studio & Gallery. There is sea angling from Portnablagh Pier and lake fishing at Sessiagh Lake.
The vibrant seaside resort of Dunfanaghy has a wide range of tourist amenities. In addition to a Blue Flag Beach, it has a fine 18-hole links golf course. There is a wide choice of pubs, cafes, craft shops, and art galleries.
There are a number of surf and watersports centres based locally – including Narosa Life and Jaws Watersports. Pony trekking is available from Dunfanaghy Stables. Dunfanaghy also has a number of festivals each year including the renowned Jazz & Blues Festival which takes place in September.
The holiday home is a luxury base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way in North West Donegal – from the small but ruggedly beautiful Rosguill Peninsula to the dramatic Bloody Foreland and the islands of the Gweedore coastline.
Along the route there are numerous fine beaches and rocky headlands. Some highlights along this coastline include Doe Castle, Ards Forest Park and Ards Coastal Footpath, the dramatic Horn Head Peninsula and the superb beaches at Falcarragh (Drumnatinney) and at Magheraroarty (Dooey). Magheraroarty Pier is the base for ferries to Tory Island and Inishbofin.
The holiday home is just 18km from the magnificent Glenveagh National Park. This park has over 16,000 hectares (40,000 acres) of mountains, lakes, glens and woods, with a herd of red deer and the recently reintroduced Golden Eagle. A quaint castle is surrounded by one of the best gardens in Ireland, which contrasts sharply with the rugged surroundings. The Visitor Centre houses exhibitions and an audio-visual show.
