Stunning Position along the Wild Atlantic Way

This comfortable 3-bed cottage is in a stunning position just off the Wild Atlantic Way, with panoramic views of sea and countryside. The cottage looks out over Lough Swilly, across to the Inishowen mountains, down to Dunree Head and faces scenic rugged Fanad hills.

Fanad Lighthouse

The cottage is located around 2 miles from the famous Fanad Lighthouse which is open for tours (highly recommended).  4 miles south is Portsalon, with its pretty harbour, golf course and spectacular Ballymastocker Bay - and 20 minutes further along the Knockalla coast road is the resort of Rathmullan.

Discover Fanad

There are plenty more bays, beaches and loughs to discover around the Fanad peninsula – from attractive coves, to surfing strands – and of course the pebble beach of the Great Pollet Arch. You're also not far from excellent golf courses, horse riding, hill walking, fishing and water sports.

Scenic Drives

Several scenic drives are signposted locally including the Fanad Drive - the most recent is the Mulroy Drive around the lovely Mulroy Bay.  20 minutes away across the Mulroy bridge is the Rosguil peninsula, home to the popular resort of Downings and the Atlantic Drive, where you can discover many more beautiful beaches, along with a leisure centre and other tourist facilities.

Difficult to Leave!

On the other hand you may find the relaxation, views and tranquility of Great Arch Cottage difficult to leave!
