Harkin's Cottage

Built in the early 1800s, this authentic Irish cottage is set in never to be forgotten scenery overlooking the dramatic Kinnagoe Bay, with its Spanish Armada associations.

Lovingly restored by its owners it retains the best of olde worlde character with modern day comforts. Surrounded by its pretty flower-filled cottage garden and its magnificent views, make it perfect for a romantic getaway, or a memory filled holiday.

The Blue Flag sandy beach at Shrove is 5km away. Greencastle is just 3.5km away where there are pubs, shops and restaurants. Also at Greencastle there are regular ferry crossings to Magilligan Point where you can tour the Antrim Coast and visit the Giants Causeway. Kinnagoe Bay has 2km of golden sandy beach.

Living Space

The Kitchen and living room are one space.
The kitchen area includes a gas cooker, microwave, washing machine/tumble dryer, iron and ironing board and a dining table with four chairs.

The living room is located to the front of the house, with an old hearth fireplace. It is combined with the kitchen. Comfortable seating, A TV (with Free Sat), DVD player and a selection of DVDs are all included.

Electricity is by coin metre.

  Two Bedrooms

There are two bedrooms which can sleep six people.  They each have a double bed and a single bed. Cot is available on request.

  Bathroom

The bathroom has an electric shower, basin and toilet.

Booking deposit of €100 is required in advance to secure all bookings.  Balance  to be paid in cash on arrival.
