Fairway Haven is located close to Dunfanaghy Golf Club and is within easy walking distance of the small harbour at Portnablagh. This 3-bedroom holiday home is ideally located for families wishing to spend some time close to the centre of this popular north Donegal seaside resort. Fairway Haven is equipped with free wifi, welcomes pets, and has a stairlift installed.

Superb Beaches

The holiday home itself has a bright open plan ground floor, 3 bedrooms (2 ensuite), a bathroom, and a patio area to the back. It is with easy walking distance to the beach and harbour in Portnablagh and also to Sessiagh Lake. A leisurely 15-minute stroll will bring you into Dunfanaghy Village. Much of this walk can be made along the beautiful blue flag Killahoey Beach. A 15-minute walk will also bring you to the sheltered Marble Hill Strand. All 3 beaches - Portnablagh, Killahoey and Marble Hill are popular for watersports of all kind - swimming, kayaking, sailing and windsurfing.

An Ideal Golf Base

For the golf enthusiast, Dunfanaghy Golf Club is less than a 5-minute drive. The superb Rosapenna Golf Club with 2 championship links courses is 20 km away. The new Mulroy Bridge near Carrigart means that Portsalon Golf Club is now just 35 km away. Closer to home the picturesque Cloughaneely 9-hole Golf Club near Falcarragh is a 13km drive from the holiday home.

Based in Portnablagh the visitor is surrounded with tourist amenities and attractions. These include a modern Spa in the Shandon Hotel, several art galleries and craft shops in Portnablagh and Dunfanaghy, a good choice of pubs, coffee shops and restaurants, a beautiful forest park at nearby Ards and fishing on 3 local lakes - Sessiagh, Purt and New Lake. Dunfanaghy also a number of popular annual festivals including a Jazz and Blues Festival and a Halloween Madness event.

What they say

A great stay. Lots of space for 3 adults and 2 small dogs. Bright, spacious and homely. Well equipped with all essentials, spotless clean. About an 8 min walk to beach. 3 min drive into Dunfanaghy. Road was a bit noisy at night and early morning but this is minor. Overall a lovely stay.
