Elizabeth House

Elizabeth House is a stylish townhouse situated in the heritage town of Ramelton, Co.Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way. The house is located on Castle Street, in the oldest part of this picturesque Georgian town. A former shop, the property is over 100 years old and has been lovingly restored by its current owners with modern conveniences and thoughtful finishes. It is centrally located and is within walking distance to all that this charming town has to offer.

The Heritage Town of Ramelton

Steeped in heritage, the town of Ramelton has managed to retain much of its charm and character through preserving many of the wonderful historical Georgian buildings that give the village a unique identity in this part of Ireland. The village is not only blessed with wonderful architecture, but also with a beautiful location on the banks of the River Lennon.

Within this setting, there is a busy village with many facilities for you to enjoy during your visit. The recently renovated Town Hall is the venue for a variety of entertainment, including concerts and stage plays. The weekly Country Market is renowned for its fresh vegetables, home-baked goods, and locally crafted gifts. In addition to Conway's and the Bridge Bar there are several other quaint pubs in the village

North Donegal

Ramelton is centrally situated in North West Donegal, which means that Elizabeth House is ideally located to explore this beautiful part of Ireland. There are numerous scenic drives within half an hour's drive of the house - including the spectacular Knockalla Coast Road and the breathtaking Atlantic Drive. Within a 20-mile radius, there are 4 top-class golf courses - Rosapenna, Portsalon, Dunfanaghy and Letterkenny.

Letterkenny

Elizabeth House is about a 20-minute drive away from Letterkenny – County Donegal's main town. This busy town has everything you would expect to find in a modern urban centre – cinemas, theatre, indoor play centres, swimming pool, town park, shopping centres and night clubs

Day Trips

Within an hour's drive, you will find the majestic Glenveagh National Park, the Dunlewy Lakeside Activity Centre, Ards Forest Park and the ancient walled City of Derry.

Booking Details

Booking Deposit €200 - with the balance to be paid six weeks before the letting period.

- Check-in 4pm, check out 11am
- Two night minimum stay for low and mid season and three night min stay for high season
- no booking or commission fees as you are booking direct with the owner

High Season: June/July/Aug/Easter/Halloween/Christmas and bank holidays
Mid Season: Mar/Apr/May/Sep/Oct
Low Season: Jan/Feb/Nov/Dec (except Christmas/New Year)
