Davey Johns Forge Cabins

Two Luxury Log Cabins

One of two luxury log cabins situated on an elevated site overlooking Mulroy Bay and close to some of Ireland's most beautiful beaches.

The cabin has been tastefully furnished with a completely bespoke kitchen, King size bed and decorated with blinds and soft furnishings from the famous McNutt Tweed factory.

Relax in the Hot Tub

Sit in your own private hot tub on the veranda and enjoy a spectacular view of the bay. You won't want to get out!

Cosy Interior

The cabin is constructed from 70mm pine logs making it feel extremely sturdy and warm inside. The open location and generous windows make for a very bright space during the day. Every window has custom roman blinds that give it a very cosy feeling in the evening.

King-Size Bedroom

The bedroom has a King Size bed with a very comfortable 'hotel quality' mattress. No expense has been spared in the furnishings and the McNutt tweed is evident throughout giving it a real 'wow' factor.

A state of the art Gas Combi Boiler means you'll have unlimited hot water / heating during your stay and the fully equipped kitchen makes eating in as pleasurable as it is at home.

Indulge Yourself at Davey John's

The recently installed private Hot Tub comes from the Canadian company called 'Softub'. They're one of the worlds leading Hot Tub manufacturers and we couldn't be happier with ours. It's so comfy to sit in you won't want to get out! It will be on and ready for you to jump in when you arrive and is yours to enjoy 24 hours a day throughout your stay.

We have plenty of parking next to the cabin. Carrigart town is less than 4 mins away with Downings beach and the Atlantic drive only another 5 mins.

Things to See and Do

If you feel like doing some shopping Letterkenny city is 20 mins away but you'll probably be too tired for that after climbing Mount Errigal (30 mins away), and checking out the beautiful art and craft shops in Dunfanaghy (25 mins) or exploring Ards Friary (30 mins) or marvelling at the gardens in Glenveagh Castle (30 mins).

Pets Welcome

Pets are welcome in the cabin but as we don’t have any cages, kennels or similar place to keep them we would ask that you accompany them at all time and keep the furnishings and paintwork safe. Please don’t forget your poo bags!

Whilst absolutely ideal for couples, pets and children are welcome at Davey John's too. We have a camp bed that can be put into your cabin for a third guest.
