The Locality

The village of Carrigart and the surrounding area is very popular with visitors who return each year to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of this wonderful part of Donegal. The village is surrounded by glorious coastal and mountain scenery. Nearby Rosapenna features 2 championship golf links courses and also the fabulous Tramore Strand. The popular holiday resort of Downings is only 5 km away.

Carrigart is situated on the beautiful Rosguill Peninsula. The natural landscape of this peninsula provides the basis for many of the activities that the visitor can enjoy - including windsurfing, deep sea diving, sea angling and boat charters. A new bridge spanning Mulroy Bay near Carrigart opened 2009. This has brought the scenic Fanad Peninsula and the wonderful Portsalon Golf Course within easy reach of the holiday home.

• Take a trip along the famous Atlantic Drive - this offers spectacular views of the majestic cliffs, seascapes and glorious headlands along the Rosguil peninsula

• Enjoy diving in the clear waters of Mulroy Bay and Sheephaven Bay

Booking Deposit €200 - with the balance to be paid six weeks before the letting period.
