Culdaff and the surrounding area, has so must to offer people of all ages – it’s the perfect place for a great holiday or weekend away. The cottage itself is a luxury recently built four bedroom cottage style dwelling. The house has all the modern conveniences that will make your stay as pleasant as possible, boasting:

 - A large sunroom looking out over the large back garden and patio area
 - 4 bedrooms (2 en-suite dbl bedrooms, one of which situated downstairs, sleeps 10)
 - Large kitchen and dining area for 8-10 people or so
 - Lounge with open fireplace, 32" flat screen TV, DVD,  video and Music center
 - SKY reception in living room and master bedroom
 - Oil fired central heating throughout
- A convenient location on the edge of Culdaff village 5 mins from McGrorys

The Garden

There’s plenty of outdoor space too, with a large secure and completely enclosed rear garden, thus, providing a secure area for younger children to play in. It also boasts a picnic table on the patio area and a large kid’s playhouse, a favorite with the younger guests.

Local Entertainment

The popular and famous establishment known as 'McGrorys' pub is a five minute walk, and here you will find a small hotel, a fine restaurant and two pubs, - The Front Bar, noted for its fine selection of food , drink and traditional Irish Music,with weekly 'sessions'. The Backroom Bar, is famous throughout Ireland for its range and quality of music and entertainment. McGrory offers all the hospitality and more that you would expect from a traditional Irish Pub.  

Local Activities

  • On the east end of the beach, a well equipped childrens play area that will keep the young ones happily occupied for many hours. On the beaches west side, you will find a picturesque little fishing harbour protected by a breakwater known as Bunagee Pier. The pier is a popular spot for anglers to cast a line.
  • Culdaff has several sandy coves popular for surfing and body boarding.
  • Golfer will find they are not far from a course too, withthe popular two links courses at Ballyliffen approx 15-20mins by car and courses at Lisfannon, Redcastle Hotel, Greencastle and Culmore in Derry city.
  • For places of great natural beauty Malin head, Kinnego Bay and Five finger strand are a must!
  • On wet days families can take advantage of the indoor amusements at Redcastle hotel where there is also a luxurious spa and swimming pool.

The kitchen area is fully fitted with modern storage units on a tiled floor, and there is a utility room just to the side. Appliances include an electric ceramic hob and oven with a matching stainless steel extractor hood, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and essential crockery, cutlery and cookware.
In the utility room, we have the microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There is also an outside clothes line.

The dining table has seating for six -eight.
Outside the sun room, is a paved patio area, with pinic table and a barbeque.

The living room has a lovely open fireplace.
The floors are oak tongue and groove boards, upon which are a comfortable leather bound three seat sofa with a matching arm chair.
The TV has a DVD and free-view SKY reception, and there is a good sound system with CD, radio and tape etc.

The four bedrooms sleep up to 10.

a. A large upstairs master, with a double bed, an en-suite shower room, and a TV with free view SKY reception.

b. a large downstairs double bed with an en-suite shower room.

The cottage has a main bathroom upstairs, which has a six jet Jacuzzi bath, a basin and a toilet.
The upstairs master en-suite has a shower, basin and toilet.

The downstairs en-suite, has a shower, basin and toilet, and a connecting door to the utility room.

Deposit secures: euro100 /£100 per week - sterling at rate on day of payment deposit secures. Full amount to be paid four weeks prior to the letting period.

Security deposit is refundable AFTER departure when house is checked & keys return confirmed .

Pay pal bookings cost additional 10 euro due to PayPal handling charge.
