This comfortable fully equipped 4 bedroom holiday home is located in a quiet, secluded spot overlooking Glen Lough and it enjoys truly spectacular views over the hills of Donegal. The village of Glen, with its pub and restaurant, is a short 2 min. drive away.

The interior of the house is spacious and bright and the large windows in the main living area take full advantage of the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside. This unique cottage makes a perfect retreat from the stresses of everyday life and its central location make it an ideal base for touring the many attractions the county has to offer.

Carrigart

Carrigart: (4 miles) is a popular resort with holidaymakers to the northwest. It has many interesting small shops, a fine family hotel and an 18 hole golf course. Uniquely for such a small town, it can boast of its own public park, hidden away behind the main street, in an an absolutely picturesque setting on the shores of Mulroy Bay .

Downings

Downings: (6 miles) has a superb beach that is frequented by families and water sport enthusiasts alike. The little harbour has an active fishing fleet specialising in lobster and crab fishing - get your fresh fish here.

Rosapenna Golf Club: (5 miles) is one of the finest and most challenging links courses in the country.

Glenveagh National Park: (12 miles). One of the country's foremost national parks. Take a tour of the castle and enjoy the special gardens - you might even catch sight of one of the eagles which were reintroduced to the park in recent years.

Glen Area

The Glen area may be described as a painters paradise, with its mountains and valleys, beaches and bays. It is also popular amongst the keenest of anglers with many lakes and rivers where there is an abundance of salmon and wild brown trout whilst hillwalkers, scuba divers, canoeists and pony trekkers can also avail of the perfect surroundings and excellent facilities.
