Beach House - Narin

Beach House has a superb beach front location opposite Narin's Blue Flag Strand in South West Donegal. The holiday home looks out over this beautiful beach towards historic Iniskeel Island with Aranmore Island visible on clear days. The wonderful Narin and Portnoo Golf Links is just 200 metres from the front door. The quaint harbour at Portnoo is 1 km to the west.

Beach House provides a comfortable holiday home with homely furnishings. There are 3 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 people. A fenced-in garden is located to the side of the house - and ideal play area for children

The Dawros Peninsula

Narin  and its sister village of Portnoo  are  small but attractive holiday resorts on the northern shores of the Dawros peninsula.   The Dawros Peninsula separates Gweebarra  Bay from the Bays of Loughrosmore and Loughrosbeg and its landscape is dotted with numerous tiny lakes and a quilt of low hills. The countryside of purple heather, small patchwork fields, streams and gentle glens makes interesting terrain for the enthusiastic walker.

• Golf at Narin and Portnoo Golf Club or play pitch and putt at Sandfield near Ardara (7km)
• Enjoy some of the beautiful unspoilt beaches in the locality - in addition to Naran Strand there is White Strand and Tramore Strand near Rosbeg
• Find numerous peaceful roads and country lanes to walk - the Dawros Peninsula is dotted with patchwork fields, small lakes and gentle rolling hills
• Visit some of the ancient monuments and sites in the region including Iniskeel Island, the Kilclooney Dolmen and Doon Fort - a ring fort in the middle of Lough Doon
• Fish for brown, sea and rainbow trout in some of the lakes and rivers in the Glenties area.
• Visit the Heritage Town of Ardara
• Enjoy some of the many well established festivals in the locality - The Seafood Festival in Portnoo and Rosbeg,the Harvest Fair and Fiddlers Weekend in Glenties and the Cup 'o Tae and Bluegrass Festivals in Ardara

There are a number of worthwhile day trips that can be enjoyed from Narin. These include  Aranmore Island, the Dunlewey Lakeside Centre, the magnificent Glenveagh National Park and Letterkenny - Donegals main shopping town that also has a multi-screen cinema, theatre, county library and museum and the modern Aura leisure centre. Historic Donegal Town and the famous sea cliffs at Slieve League are less than an hours drive from the holiday home.
