Bayside House is a gem along the Wild Atlantic Way overlooking Mulroy Bay in North Donegal between Fanad Head and Rosguill Point, two major highlights of this iconic route. The home has commanding views over the bay to the mountains beyond where the sun sets to the front of the property every evening. The House was designed in the late 1930s and is a fine example of art deco design. Its balcony and living areas make the most of the view making each stay special. Ideal for an extended family.

Surrounding Area

The village of Kerrykeel itself is centrally situated on the Fanad Peninsula. This beautiful peninsula stretches north from the village of Milford via Kerrykeel to Fanad Head and back down to the quaint Georgian village of Ramelton via Portsalon and Rathmullan. It has some of the most remarkable cliff scenery in Ireland. The peninsula has numerous bays, glorious beaches, rolling hills and numerous small lakes. On the eastern shores of the peninsula, the renowned Knockalla coast road offers a spectacular drive overlooking Lough Swilly and the Inishowen hills.

Portsalon Beach and Golf Course

A 15-minute drive from Bayside House will bring you to the seaside village of Portsalon where you will find a wonderful blue flag beach and a top-class golf course. Portsalon Golf Club has been extensively redesigned in the last few years and is now one of the finest links courses in the North West of Ireland. In the immediate locality visit the Dolmen Celtic burial site. The ferry across Lough Swilly from Rathmullan to Buncrana is within 15-minute drive.

What they say

Congratulations on an absolutely wonderful site! I was going crazy researching availability on other sites - that did not state price, no. of rooms, bathroom facilities often (even after clicking three or four links) and also did not follow a pattern for each entry. Your site is delightful. I could go through all pages of entries and with the price details given immediately did not need to waste time over entries not within my budget.
