Bay View offers you a calm retreat to enjoy the wealth of sights and amenities on offer nearby.  Located in an elevated, tranquil setting with views overlooking Donegal Bay, this self-catering apartment is ideally suited to those who just want to ‘get away from it all’. Only a 5-minute drive from historic Donegal Town, Bay View is just off the route of the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’.  In the town, you'll find a wonderful array of restaurants, delicious coffee houses, independent shops and traditional bars.

Fully equipped for a very enjoyable getaway, exploring the sights of County Donegal and beyond or attending a wedding at any of the nearby hotels, Bay View has two bedrooms to accommodate up to four people comfortably. 

Within walking distance, there is a quiet little beach and the recently opened MacManus Estate, Rossylongan, renowned for its woodland walks and carved sculptures.   

PLEASE NOTE:  Bay View is part of a larger premises, which is occasionally occupied.  The apartment comprises the ground floor of this property, with its own independent entrance and ample parking. 

Explore Donegal Town

Exploring the town by foot, there's plenty to see with tours of the historic Castle, built in 1474 by the ruling O'Donnell Family, Donegal Railway Heritage Centre and step back in time meandering through the ruins of Donegal Franciscan Friary.  

Why not venture a little further and hop on the 'Waterbus' which offers a number of daily sailings around the seven Green Islands in Donegal Bay with many points of interest on the way?  You'll even spot Bay View Apartment on your trip!

There are also many great walking trails nearby, including through the Bluestack Mountains.

Along The Wild Atlantic Way

Bay View is ideally located to travel the Wild Atlantic Way and take in the wonderful coastline, passing Killybegs, Glencolmcille, Ardara, the Glengesh Pass as well as Donegal's 'Secret Waterfall'.  You can also take day trips to Glenveagh National Park, Sligo and beyond.  

The wedding venues of Lough Eske and Harvey's Point are ~15 minutes drive.
