3 Rinn Na Mhara is a modern 4 bedroom holiday home located in a small attractive development beside Dunfanaghy Golf Club. From the front door, it is a few minutes walk to the fabulous Killahoey Blue Flag Beach and to the centre of Dunfanaghy village itself. Not only is the holiday home perfect for a beach and golf holiday, but it is also an ideal base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way in North West Donegal.

This top class self catering accommodation has 4 bedrooms to sleep up to 9 people. Two of the bedrooms are ensuite and there is a main bathroom. The holiday home has an open plan design on the ground floor. The bright living area is tastefully furnished and decorated and has an open fireplace.  

There is a beautifully designed kitchen with a full range of cooking, cleaning and storage appliances.  A large furnished conservatory provides a second living space overlooking the back lawn. A small study - reading area is located on the first floor landing

Dunfanaghy and Surrounding Area

Dunfanaghy is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Donegal today. This is in no small part due to the number of tourist amenities in the town and the surrounding area.  Beach lovers and watersport enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice.

In addition to Killahoey there are fine beaches at Portnablagh, Marble Hill and Ards.  A true hidden gem is the totally unspoilt Tramore beach at the western end of Horn Head.

Golf, of course, is on your doorstep.  There are a number of surf / watersports schools based in the village. Pony trekking is available locally from Dunfanaghy Stables.  Also available locally is fishing – both lake fishing and sea angling. 

Ideal Cycling, Walking and Hill Walking Terrain

There are numerous opportunities for cycling, walking and hill walking around Dunfanaghy.  The narrow winding coastal road around Horn Head offers dramatic scenery at almost every turn.  

There are several marked walking trails in nearby Ards Forest Park and there’s a fantastic coastal footpath in Ards Friary. Nearby Muckish Mountain is well worth a climb.

  • Visit Glenveagh National Park, with 16,000 hectares of mountains, lakes, wood, and bogs. Glenveagh contains the largest red deer population in Europe.  Within the National Park, Glenveagh Castle and gardens are well worth a visit on their own
  • Enjoy diving in the clear waters of Sheephaven Bay 
  • Go fishing on Sessiagh Lake or enjoy sea angling at Portnablagh

The holiday home has a beautifully crafted kitchen with tiled floor. Appicances available include electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The kitchen has an adjacent dining area and opens out to a south facing conservatory.

The conservatory provides a relaxing living space in the holiday home. It is tastefully furnished and overlooks the large fenced-in back garden. Glass patio doors lead out to the garden where views of Muckish can be enjoyed
