This modern apartment is well equipped for a self catering holiday.  It has 3 double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two shower rooms.  An open plan area has living, dining and kitchen areas. The living area has comfortable sofa and armchair furniture and a large flat screen tv.  The stylish kitchen is fully equipped for a self catering holiday. The apartment has the added advantage of free WiFi.

The apartment is above the a newly renovated small classic bar and close to The Lily Rose Sandwich Bar and Coffee Shop (great 4 breakfast!) 

A Dynamic Town along The Wild Atlantic Way

Most of the main amenities in Buncrana are within easy walking distance of the apartment. The main street has numerous shops, pubs, cafes, and restaurants. There are several shopping outlets, a cinema and several children's playgrounds.  The walk along the shorefront to Fr Hegartys rock is perhaps the finest coastal walk in the northwest.

Golf Courses and Sandy Beaches Nearby

There are numerous fine sandy beaches  in and around Buncrana and two golf courses – The North West Golf Club at nearby Lisfannon and Buncrana Golf Club. The superb Ballyliffin Golf Club – venue for the 2018 Irish Open – is 21km away

Getting Around the Inishowen Peninsula

Buncrana is the hub of nightlife for the Inishowen Peninsula and is also the main gateway town for the Wild Atlantic Way in North East Donegal. During the summer months a car ferry operates between Buncrana and Rathmullan providing easy access to the beautiful Fanad Peninsula.

  • Enjoy bird watching at the Inch Wild Fowl Reserve (15km)
  • Visit Grianan of Aileach. This is a 5000-year-old neolithic stone fort located on a hilltop at Burt, with commanding views of loughs Foyle and Swilly.
  • Go fishing on the Crana River or at the Pollan / Fullerton Dam
  • Visit the ancient walled City of Derry on the banks of the Foyle
  • Take a trip around the famous Inishowen 100.  This is one of Ireland's most scenic drives. The route includes dramatic coastal scenery plus a fine collection of ancient forts and monuments, traditional craft centres, and a dozen or so friendly villages. Scenic highlights include the Gap of Mamore, and Malin Head -  Ireland's most northerly point
  • Take a day trip to the majestic Glenveagh National Park (65km) in the Donegal Highlands
  • Go walking on the many coastal pathways, woodland, and hills on the Inishowen Peninsula
